Holcombe Brook Primary School is situated about 2 and a half miles north of Bury Town Centre.

 

How to find the school:

 

From Bury

If coming by motorway, leave the M66 at Junction 2, keeping in the centre lane at the exit slip road.

(There are traffic lights at the end of the slip road.)

Bear to the left towards Bury Town Centre, keeping in the right lane for about 100 yards to the next set of lights.

Turn right at the lights and continue to the next set of lights. Continue straight on to the next set of lights, then bear left. Continue straight on through two closely spaced sets of lights, keeping straight on, in the middle lane, at the second set. (Onto by-pass.) Keep in right lane on by-pass through three sets of lights – this will take you to the right, with a B & Q store on your left, at the end of the by-pass. Bear right (following the main road) at the next lights and continue up Brandlesholme Road for about 2 and a quarter miles, following the map on the reverse.

 

From Ramsbottom

If coming from the motorway, take the M66 to the Ramsbottom turn off.

 

Follow the signs to Ramsbottom. On reaching the town centre, turn left at the lights towards Bolton. At the second set of lights, with the Hare and Hounds Public House on the right, turn left down Longsight Road. The School is approximately ¾ of a mile down on the left.

 

From Bolton via Hawkshaw

 

Go through Hawkshaw until you reach the traffic lights at a dip in the road. The Hare and Hounds Pub is on the left. Turn right down Longsight Road. The school is approximately 1 mile down on the left.
