Headteacher`s Welcome Welcome to St. Andrew`s School website! Thank you for your interest in our School. We hope that you will find all the information you need on our site. St. Andrew`s is a Church of England (Aided) Primary School with a long and distinguished tradition of serving the local community. We offer a primary education to all children aged 3-11. Our school premises are well ordered, with an older, traditional building at the heart of the school and more recent extensions. We have two separate playground areas for Infant and Junior children and large playing fields. The Staff are experienced and enthusiastic and committed to ensuring that all of our children make good progress. Each child is offered quality learning experiences, within a broad and balanced curriculum. We are a happy and caring family school with high expectations for all our children and we provide a secure and stimulating environment in which they can learn and grow. The School has 8, age-based classes, beginning with the Nursery class (children aged 3 before September 1st of the current school year) on to Year Six (children aged 11 by August 31st of the current school year). There are currently 204 children on roll in main school (YR-Y6) and 42 children attending the Nursery class part-time. The School has a maximum intake of 30 children into the Reception class each year. Governors and Staff at St. Andrew`s School are committed to the ideals outlined in our Aims and Mission Statement. We wish to work in partnership with parents to ensure that our children are offered the very best opportunities. We are proud of our relationship with the local community and of the reputation we enjoy within it. If you are interested in bringing your child to St. Andrew`s Radcliffe and would like to view the school and meet our lovely children and Staff, please contact Mrs. McMahon in the School Office.
