RM EasyMail Plus is the most popular educational web-based email system in UK schools.
The service provides all the standard features of an email system, such as
a personal address book, virus and SPAM protection, spell checking, and combines
them with powerful education specific features such as:

" Mailbox usage gauge
" Easy to use administration
The service has been designed to meet the needs of teachers, pupils, office
staff and senior managers
Powerful filtering technology lets schools decide on where particular users
are allowed to send and receive emails to and from. For example, a group of
pupils might only be allowed to send and receive email within their school.
Currently all individual pupil email accounts that have been set up can
only send and return to UKSCHOOLS, this can be limited to LOCAL ( within your
own school domain only ) or expanded to UNRESTRICTED if desired. Staff accounts
are UNRESTRICTED.
In addition, schools can also choose to place restrictions on email content
(banned word filtering) and determine whether attachments are permitted or
denied. If a user is in contravention with their level of filtering, the email
they have sent or were going to receive is re-directed to a special staff
account.
All individual pupil email accounts have been set up with Banned Word Checking
enabled and to allow 0 banned words. Staff accounts do not have Banned Word
Checking enabled. All accounts have attachments permitted.
RM EasyMail Plus provides two design templates for your users. The first template
is designed for pupils and has a colourful design and features large buttons.
The other is designed for older pupils and staff use, it has a more subtle
colour scheme and some additional email management features.
