The class email a real or imaginary person in a country they are studying to get information to support their work.
Ideally the pupils will send emails to a real person in the place they are studying, more realistically the activity will be staged, with a colleague acting as the Foreign Relative.
The activity can be enhanced by using attachments to send pictures.
