Assemblies

There is an assembly every day, Mondays to Wednesdays and Fridays are led by Mr Pilling, Thursdays by Mr Stephenson. Each week a different theme is selected and the stories and activities focus on this theme to help develop the children's spiritual, moral and cultural understanding.

Parents are invited to our Presentation assembly each Friday at 9am. The children may bring along any awards or certificates for presentation i.e. swimming, football or dance. These awards are presented alongside Class & School Certificates. During the assembly we also celebrate the children's birthdays from the week up to and including that Friday.

Some assemblies include participation from various classes, these are very popular with parents and children. The class assemblies for 2009/10 are: Thursday 22nd October - Year 2, Wednesday 27th January - Year 5, Tuesday 2nd March - Year 6, Wednesday 24th March - Year 3, Thursday 20th May - Year R/1, Wednesday 26th May - Year 1/2, Thursday 24th June - Year R
