How to apply for leave of absence
The Governing Body, while accepting a family's wish to request leave of absence for holidays during term time, would strongly encourage all parents to avoid disrupting their child's education by not taking holidays within the school term. Requests for Leave of Absence during term time should be made directly to the headteacher via the School Office . From September 2010 an application form leave of absence will need to be completed, in consultation with the headteacher, outlining the circumstances for the request and supported by a covering letter. Thank you.
